It is in the centre of the city, opposite Carignano Theatre.

Guarino Guarini

In the seventeenth century Emanuele Filiberto asks Guarino Guarini to build the palace for his family.

It has got two façades in two different squares.

On the façade in Carignano Square there is a tower and you can see a lot of decorations.

 

 

 

This part of the Palace is built with red bricks.

The white and pink façade of Carlo Alberto Square has got beautiful columns.

 

Nowadays in Carignano Palace there is the  Museum of Risorgimento but you can also see the old Parliament

Vittorio Emanuele II, first king of Italy, was born in this palace, in 1820.
