Alfredo D'Andrade PRIMARY SCHOOL

Our school is called Alfredo D’Andrade Primary School. It is in the centre of Pavone. The nursery school and the secondary school are not far from our school.There is a small playground with four big trees where we play when the weather is fine.The building is quite old and it has two floors.

On the ground floor there are:

  • five classrooms,

  • a music laboratory,

  • a dining hall,

  • toilets

  • a staff room 

  • the school office.

On the first floor there are eight classrooms, a library, an information technology laboratory,

an art laboratory and toilets. We have a photocopier, a television and a video-recorder.

Every classroom has two blackboards, a cupboard, desks and chairs.

The gym is very big and is in the basement. We must wear trainers there.

About 150 pupils go to our school. We have nine classes.

School starts at 8:30 a.m. and finishes at 4:30 p.m. We have a break in the morning from 10:30 to 11:00. Lunchtime is at 12:30 and playtime is from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

We study the following subjects: Italian, maths, English, science, history, geography, information technology, music, art, sports and religion.

Sometimes we go on field trips and outings with our teachers.
