MARIA DOMENICA MAZZARELLO
She was born in Mornese near Alessandria in 1837.
First daughter of seven children, she grows up in a peasant family.
With the help of Don Bosco she founds the Istituto Maria Ausiliatrice, a school for children.
She dies, 44 years old, in 1881 and she leaves 27 houses in Italy, France, Argentina and Uruguay.
In 1951 she's proclaimed saint.
